An accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers, she teaches college courses on the History of Interior Design. She has worked in the design field in both commercial and residential applications, as well as procuring and designing furniture. She has experience in the museum field, curating exhibitions throughout the Midwest and assisted in research for numerous publications on fine art and architecture. She earned a B.A. in Art History from William Smith College, Geneva, New York; an M.A. in Art History from the University of Missouri in Kansas City; a Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine & Decorative Arts from the University of California, Irvine; and a four-year Post-Baccalaureate Designation in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of California, Los Angeles.
